REA Group Limited is a digital advertising business, focusing pimarily in property. Established in Melbourne in 1995, it took as little as four years to be listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in 1999. REA Group is based in Australia, but has many connections overseas including Europe and Hong Kong, and employs over 700 people world-wide.

As times are changing, so has the way of advertising. In July 2012, the first iPhone app was released for realcommercial.com.au and more recently, in August last year the realcommercial.com.au iPad app was launched. This development of technology has allowed users to quickly and efficiently view property's listed on the two property websites, with the touch of a screen.

REA Group Limited is Australia's No. 1 agency in residential and commercial property websites, of which are: realestate.com.au and realcommercial.com.au. Not only does REA Group operate the two most visited property websites in Australia, they are also the producers behind casa.it in Italy and various other apps and property sites throughout Europe and Hong Kong.

As with many online business, a small garage in East Doncaster was where the business originally started, founded by Karl Sabljak and Martin Howell. From that point forward, the business has had many bumps in the road, but the founders never thought it would be such a success (REA Group, 2014).
